What People's Say About Place

Bruh…. If you want something cheap, quick, please visit here Bad I think they are super busy, because they receive a lot of order especially during lunch- you hardly can ask for altering of “less” something. They made it quick and cheap and with tons of choice so I can’t blame them. Again the staff is not super friendly and “hospitality”- but you can pay extra 15$ for “service” right, its too cheap to complain The food is little oily imo Best Yummy food, quick serve, literally serve the best function of it- being a restaurant They have variety of choices- which I tried most of their menus and they are not bad at all They have open kitchen so customer can see people cooking- nothing shady at all, and you can see its pretty clean I think you cant complain with such price, will comeback again and again. I hope they wont change of raise the price.

Fantastic classic Chinese take-out place. Stick to the usuals — chicken and broccoli, sesame chicken, and general tao’s — and you won’t be disappointed. Fast, reliable, and lots of food. Broccoli is always fresh. They accommodate special requests. While I usually get white rice at other places, I like their brown rice more. Never had issues with take-out or delivery.

Brunch time, and what better way to reward myself than with some hearty Chinese comfort food? While strolling along the NYC streets on the way to the studio during rehearsals, I stumbled upon China Gourmet – a no-frills spot that turned out to be a delightful find. On May 9th, I tried the Chicken with Broccoli Rice paired with an Egg Roll. The chicken was tender, the broccoli perfectly cooked, and the savory sauce tied everything together beautifully. The egg roll? Crispy, golden, and packed with flavor. Today, I went back for more and opted for the Chicken with Mixed Vegetables and a Wonton Soup. The mixed veggies were fresh and crunchy, and the chicken. The wonton soup was light yet satisfying, with plump, flavorful wontons swimming in a soothing broth. China Gourmet might not flaunt a flashy exterior, but the food speaks for itself – simple, delicious, and satisfying. Would I go back? Definitely

I think it’s a hidden gem, you get a very generous portion meal for about $10 whether it’s chicken or beef with broccoli that is very well-made and not overcooked. I tried places that cost three times as much and none of them compare compared to this place. Highly recommend

We got a lot of food for 4 people, but each order was absolutely amazing. The only thing is the egg rolls seemed a bit over cooked but I think that's just an overlook. I got the beef lo mein, best order out there.

Super value for money. Each $10+ or $11+ nett meal can be shared with 2 people and we will both be super full!! And it tastes so good as well!! Tried the chicken and broccoli, general tso (comes with some broccoli too), and they are all so good! I always go in person to take away since the delivery seems bad according to other reviews.

Good NYC Chinese food. I do feel that they need to fix their wontons, the meat tastes a bit off. Not necessarily stale, just off. But otherwise I love everything, I’m just a huge fan of egg drop wonton and I really need them to work on that product.

I have no idea why there are bad reviews. This place was great. For 10 dollars I got so much food. I ordered their mixed vegetable with bean curd in curry sauce lunch special. Got an egg roll with. I asked about vegetarian options, and they explained their vegetarian options. The service was so kind for it being lunch rush. My food came out withing 5 mins and was hot while I walked to my college campus. 10 out of 10! I'm definitely coming back for lunch.
